Recover an interrupted restore
Resume or recover a pending workspace restore after the app or local host stops.
What to do2 sections
A restore can remain pending while Paydae stops and restarts its local host. Closing the screen after confirmation does not cancel an admitted operation. On startup, Paydae checks the recorded restore state before normal workspace work resumes.
What to do
- Reopen Paydae
Let the app load its restore status. If it routes back to the pending restore, inspect the displayed phase and reference instead of starting another restore.
- Follow the offered action
Select Reconnect to restore if the screen lost contact with the local host. If Restore recovery needs attention appears, use Recover operation. Complete an owner sign-in or other displayed prerequisite when required.
- Read the outcome
Distinguish a completed restore, a restore that failed before applying changes, and a rolled-back operation. A cancelled prepared restore leaves workspace files unchanged. Do not infer success from the selected backup or a progress screen alone.
- Verify the workspace
Once the app permits normal access, check the intended organisation, representative payroll records, documents, and local access. For replacement, inspect the retained safety point in Backup restore points.
Before another attempt
Use Prepare another restore only after the app shows that the earlier operation has ended or been recovered. If the workspace remains unavailable or the recovery action fails, keep the backup and safety files, record the on-screen operation reference and exact error, and contact support through your approved channel. Do not move database files manually or delete the safety point.
