Set up organisation payment methods
Record employer bank and mobile money accounts, and distinguish them from the bank directory and employee payment routes.
What this is8 sections
Record the organisation’s own bank transfer or mobile money accounts under My Organisation → Edit Organisation Profile → Organisation payment methods.
What this is
Organisation payment methods holds bank accounts owned by the employer and mobile money accounts registered to it. Each route has its own account details, payment currency and primary selection. The separate Banks screen maintains a bank-and-branch directory. Employee payment routes are set on each employee’s Payment & Banking form.
When to use it
Use this when setting up or changing an employer payment account, or when reviewing which route is primary. Use Add or update employee payment details for a worker’s own receiving account.
Before you begin
- Confirm the selected organisation and use its authorised account records.
- Have the account holder, account number or registered mobile number, currency, and bank or provider details available.
- Confirm which of the organisation’s routes should be primary.
Product navigation
Open My Organisation, select Edit Organisation Profile, and find Organisation payment methods. The same section is available during full organisation registration. Open Banks only to maintain directory entries.
Steps
- Open the organisation profile
Confirm the organisation, then open Organisation payment methods in Edit Organisation Profile.
- Add an employer payment route
Select Add bank account or Add mobile money account. Enter the account holder and payment currency. For a bank route, complete the bank, branch and account number. For mobile money, enter the registered number and provider if known; the provider is not inferred from the number.
- Review the primary route
Review the routes and mark the intended one as primary. Check the form’s validation, including required route details and the limit on the number of routes.
- Save and verify
Save the organisation profile, reopen it and confirm the routes and primary selection were retained.
What to check
The route belongs to the selected organisation, its account holder and currency match the approved record, and the intended route is primary. Review employee payment routes separately.
Important boundaries
Bank and account information is sensitive financial data. Paydae stores the details entered; saving does not verify account ownership or execute a payment. A bank export may require an eligible organisation bank account in the payment currency. Confirm payment approval and the bank-file process separately.
Common problems
A route does not save
Check the account holder, required bank or mobile money details, primary selection and route limit shown by the form.
A provider is unknown
Leave it blank where permitted and verify it from the organisation’s source; a mobile number does not determine the provider.
An employee cannot select a bank
Use Banks to check the directory and branch, then return to the employee’s Payment & Banking section.
