The Payruns list shows the selected organisation’s drafts and completed runs, with status, type, schedule context, and totals when available. Several regular runs may appear in one month.

Before you begin

Select the organisation and open Payroll > Payruns. Confirm the organisation context before searching.

Steps

  1. Use Search payruns, purpose, schedule… or filter by Status, Payroll type, Pay schedule, From date, and To date. “Paid” is not a payroll-run status because Paydae does not execute payment.
  2. Check the run status and purpose against its schedule and period before opening it.
  3. Select “View details” for the schedule, service period, close-by date, statutory effective date, finalisation time when applicable, employee count, net amount, and owner.
  4. For a non-Draft row, select “Review” or “Review calculations” to open Review payroll.
  5. For an editable draft, use Continue payrun when offered to reopen its preparation wizard.
  6. Use Archive draft only when the draft should leave active work; read the confirmation before accepting.

What to check

The table should expose runs in view, awaiting action, overdue, and finalised. A completed row retains its run ID and occurrence identity. A draft is continuable according to its own state and authority, including when its close-by date has passed.

Important boundaries

History is organisation-scoped. “Approved” and “Finalised” are different statuses; an approved run is not necessarily finalised. Archive applies to drafts and does not remove submitted payroll runs or final records. Use Review payroll for calculation evidence and available actions.

Common problems

No active organisation is selected

The history cannot be safely loaded.

No payroll records match these filters

Adjust the search/filter combination; select “Reset”.

Completed row has no review action

Confirm that a payroll run ID is present and the row is not a Draft.
