The sidebar depends on workspace mode and signed-in persona. Confirm the active organisation before opening employee, payroll, document or statutory records.

Company workspace

The Workspace group includes Dashboard, Calendar, My Organisation, Employees (Directory, Grades), Banks, Transactions (Controlled Catalogue, Custom Transactions, Insights & Analytics), Time & Attendance (Time Tracking, Time Off, Time Off Policies), Payroll (Overview, Runs, Schedules), Documents, Compliance, and Reports. Control contains Organisation Audit, Workspace Backup, and Workspace Settings.

Bureau workspace

Workspace Admin contains Dashboard, Organisations, Workspace Audit, Workspace Backup, and Workspace Settings. Current Organisation contains the selected client’s dashboard and operational modules, including its Calendar and Organisation Audit. Choose a client in Organisations before using client-scoped records. The workspace calendar route currently returns to the workspace dashboard; use the selected client’s Calendar for its events.

Find the right context

  1. Check workspace and persona

Confirm which local workspace is open and whether the session is the owner or an auditor. Navigation visibility and record-changing actions depend on those permissions.

  2. Choose the organisation

In a bureau workspace, open Organisations or use the organisation switch control, then confirm the selected client in the shell.

  3. Open the owning screen

Use the sidebar group named in the task. For a generated report or export, open Documents. For interactive finalised payroll analysis, open Reports.

  4. Confirm scope before saving or exporting

Check the organisation, period, run and page title in the destination screen. A link from the dashboard or notification drawer may change the active client.

Auditor navigation is review-oriented. It can include Workspace Settings, but permission limits its available controls; a visible link does not grant write access. For a screen-level guide, see Understand the dashboard and organisation context.
