A saved view stores the current Payroll Cost & Detail configuration for the selected organisation. It does not store a report file or freeze payroll results; opening it runs the report again.

Steps

  1. Prepare the report

Open Reports for the correct organisation. Set the period range, run types, filters, grouping, employee detail columns, and sort order you want to reuse. At least one run type and one employee detail column must remain selected.

  2. Choose the saved period behaviour

In Saved views, enter a name and choose Saved period behavior. Choose Keep selected range to repeat the exact period range, Latest completed period for the latest available period, or Previous periods with a Period count for a moving range.

  3. Save the view

Select Save as new. To replace a selected saved view with the current configuration, use Update selected. The view belongs to the current organisation.

  4. Open or remove a view

Choose a view from Saved payroll cost view and select Open view to apply it and refresh results. Use Delete when it is no longer needed.

If a view needs review

A view can become incompatible when its saved settings are no longer supported, or its fixed period is unavailable. Read the message in Saved views; choose a valid period and save a new configuration, update the selected view where permitted, or delete the obsolete view. Confirm the Scope strip and report-quality messages each time you open a view.
