Dashboard shows work in the selected organisation. In a company workspace, it opens the Payroll Action Center. A bureau workspace first presents a portfolio dashboard; select a client organisation to see that client’s payroll action stack.

Organisation dashboard

The System State headline summarises the latest payroll snapshot. The page can show:

  • Finish setting up your payroll: organisation, employee, and pay-run setup prerequisites, progress, and links to the owning screens.
  • Identified Issues Requiring Resolution: issues sorted by severity and recency. An issue may identify an affected record, owner, due date, or Blocks payroll status.
  • Active Pay Runs & Operational Actions: ready and draft runs with Review pay runs and Continue draft actions.
  • An all-clear state when setup is verified and no issues or active runs remain. It may show the next scheduled payroll and an off-cycle run action.

The dashboard opens workflows; it does not itself complete setup, resolve an issue, or finalise a run. Read-only sessions keep status visible while disabling actions that change records.

Bureau dashboard

Workspace Admin → Dashboard shows Workspace actions required and Organisations requiring attention. An organisation action confirms the selected client before navigating. Use Show more organisations when the attention list spans multiple pages. This screen lists organisations needing attention; it is not a searchable list of every client.

Check scope and freshness

Confirm the selected organisation in the shell before opening Employees, Payroll, Reports, Documents, or Compliance. A bureau action can switch the client; check the shell again after following it.

Use Refresh after resolving work. If refresh fails, the last confirmed snapshot may remain visible. Treat its state as unconfirmed until a fresh result loads. If the bureau attention count and organisation rows disagree, use Retry before relying on the list.
