My Organisation evaluates setup for the selected organisation and effective date. Its Setup Action Center separates issues that stop payroll calculation from issues that affect statutory outputs or profile completion. Read the reason and destination on each action before changing data.

Read the status

StatusWhat it tells youNext action
Blocked for payrollOne or more calculation blockers prevent payroll preparation for the evaluated context.Open the named payroll action and correct its source data.
Ready for payrollThe organisation-level payroll readiness check found no calculation blocker.Continue the run-specific employee, schedule, input, preview and finalisation checks.
Statutory output attention requiredPayroll may be ready while one or more affected statutory outputs still need information or review.Follow the named output action before generating that output.
Verification unavailablePayroll readiness could not be confirmed.Retry the check; do not treat the unavailable result as ready.

Profile actions can remain after payroll becomes ready. The Action Center also reports when statutory output checks could not be verified. Check the evaluation date and refresh after changing an organisation, employee, schedule or pack setting.

Why the checks differ

Payroll calculation needs the facts required to calculate the selected run. A statutory file can require additional organisation or employee identifiers that do not change the calculation. For example, an employee row can be payroll Ready while an output still needs a statutory identifier. An optional payment-file export has its own routing requirements.

The statutory pack supplies dated calculation rules. The organisation supplies its own identity, obligation decisions and classifications; employees supply their own statutory and employment facts. A pack installed for review does not change the workspace default for new payroll preparations. An existing run retains its captured pack.

Follow an action to its owner

  • Organisation identity or contact: open Edit Organisation Profile in My Organisation.
  • Employer statutory facts or decisions: open Edit statutory profile. See Configure your organisation’s statutory profile.
  • Pack coverage or rule availability: open Workspace Settings → Statutory Packs and review the default for the effective date.
  • Schedule or assignment: open Payroll → Schedules.
  • Employee fact: open Employees and the named employee section.
  • Output-specific issue: review the named action, then check the affected output in Documents → Statutory.

After saving a correction, return to My Organisation and rerun readiness. A resolved action should change or disappear. If a payroll draft already exists, recheck its own preparation and preview; organisation-level readiness does not silently refresh a draft.

Important boundaries

Ready for payroll does not approve the figures, include every employee, guarantee payment export, or authorise statutory filing. Review the selected run’s employee coverage and current preview before finalisation. Review each generated statutory output and submit it through the applicable official channel.

If an action remains, follow Organisation readiness blockers. For the run itself, use the Payroll preparation checklist.
