Work through each period3 sections
Paydae helps prepare payroll calculations and local evidence. The employer remains responsible for registration, correct source facts, review, filing, payment, and keeping authority responses. The obligations below have different owners and evidence; a generated file does not complete all of them.
| Obligation | What to maintain in Paydae | What to confirm outside Paydae |
|---|---|---|
| PAYE and AIDS levy | Employer and employee tax details, the applicable signed pack, finalised payroll, PAYE work periods, coverage, generated earnings files and working reports. | TaRMS return, payment, any correction, and official receipts. |
| NSSA POBS | Employer NSSA registration, employee identity and scheme coverage, finalised contributions, monthly P4 data. | NSSA self-service employee registration or changes, monthly P4, payment, and acknowledgement. |
| NSSA APWCS | Employer applicability, registered industrial classification and assessed-rate evidence required by the pack. | NSSA classification, assessment, premium, and any required wage declaration. |
| ZIMDEF training levy | Employer registration and applicability, wage-bill evidence, generated monthly declaration. | Required declaration, remittance, adjustment evidence, and authority receipt. |
Work through each period
- Review source facts
Review organisation statutory identifiers and applicability decisions, then employee statutory details and PAYE method decisions.
- Check the signed pack
Check the workspace statutory default for new payroll and the exact pack captured by an existing run.
- Finalise and review payroll
Calculate, review, and finalise payroll. Investigate statutory readiness or coverage blockers before using its outputs.
- Prepare monthly outputs
Prepare the relevant monthly output. Review source runs, skipped employees, totals, currency, and output hash.
- Complete external actions
Complete the required authority activity and payment through the correct official channel. Record the separate receipts and exceptions in the appropriate employer record.
- Reconcile the next period
Reconcile the next period and any amendments against retained source evidence.
Keep dates and rates current
Use the applicable signed pack and current official authority material for the period and currency. Confirm filing and payment dates from the authority or your registered account each cycle. An internal target in Paydae is a planning date, not a legal deadline.
