The bell opens Notifications, showing the unread count and notices published by the local host. A notice can point to another Paydae screen, but changing notification state does not complete its underlying task.

Steps

  1. Open and identify the notice

Select the notification bell. Read its title, time, context, and action label. Check the organisation before following an action in a bureau workspace.

  2. Follow the action when needed

Select the notice’s action to open its owning workflow. Some actions ask for confirmation first. An action may be unavailable when it is unsupported by the drawer, requires full access, or cannot be used in the current context.

  3. Record that you reviewed it

Select Mark read for an unread notice. Select Acknowledge when the notice explicitly requires acknowledgement; reading it alone does not satisfy that requirement.

  4. Manage optional reminders

Remind later is available for eligible actionable notices. Dismiss is available when acknowledgement is not pending. Use Mark all read only after reviewing the outstanding notices.

What the notice state means

Read, acknowledged, reminded, and dismissed are notification states. None proves that a payroll, backup, or compliance blocker has been resolved. Return to the owning screen and refresh its status after completing the work. A read-only user can review notification state while an action that changes records remains unavailable.

If the drawer reports a loading or operation error, select Retry or Refresh. No active notifications means the local host has not published an active notice to this drawer; check the relevant workflow directly when you expect work to be pending.
