Use Documents → Settings to set the default local export folder and the organisation’s payslip branding. The page is headed Document Settings.

Before you begin

Confirm the active organisation. Have a permitted logo or watermark image ready if the payslip needs custom branding. A branding asset must be active and validated before it can be enabled and saved.

Steps

  1. Choose the default export folder

In Default export folder, choose a writable local destination. Confirm the displayed path. You can still choose an output-specific destination when saving a file.

  2. Set payslip branding

In Payslip branding, decide whether to use organisation logo or watermark assets. Upload or select the active asset and enable the relevant option.

  3. Preview the result

Open the Payslip branding preview. It renders a sample PDF using the current selection, so inspect logo placement and watermark readability before saving.

  4. Save settings

Select Save settings. If saving is unavailable, check that each enabled custom branding option points to its active validated asset.

Unbranded payslips

Remove all payslip branding omits both bundled Paydae branding and organisation logo or watermark assets from newly generated payslips. Uploaded assets are retained, so switching to unbranded does not delete them.

What to check

After saving, reopen Settings and confirm the export folder and branding selections. Generate or preview a new payslip to inspect the applied design. Previously generated PDFs retain their original content; regenerate when a new branding choice must appear on a payslip.
