Create the Comprehensive Audit Proof Package (.ZIP) in Documents → Custom Reports & Proof when a review needs linked evidence for a finalised payroll run.

Before you begin

Finalise the intended run and generate the source documents you need. Confirm their recorded content hashes. The builder can select up to 200 stored documents from the selected run. A document without the required hash cannot provide the bundle’s output-hash link.

Steps

  1. Open the proof template

    In Report Catalog & Studio, choose New Custom Report and select Comprehensive Audit Proof Package (.ZIP).

  2. Select the run

    In Scope & Filters, choose the finalised payroll run. Check the organisation and period.

  3. Choose source documents

    Select the generated documents to include. Review each document’s type and hash; the selector identifies records with No hash recorded.

  4. Preview the package

    Continue through the builder and inspect Preview & Export. Resolve missing-hash or source validation issues before generating.

  5. Generate and save the ZIP

    Use Generate & Export and choose a local destination. Find the generated package in Generated Reports Archive and the saved file in Local Export Log.

What to check

Check the selected run, included document list, bundle format, generated timestamp, and available manifest or preview. The manifest links source documents and hashes to payroll and audit context. Keep the generated package and saved ZIP distinct: cancelling the local save may leave the generated package in Documents.

Common problems

No source documents are available

generate documents for the selected finalised run first.

A source says No hash recorded

follow Generated document hash missing. Do not type a replacement hash manually.

The ZIP is absent from the destination

inspect the save result and Local Export Log.

Evidence has changed

review the source selection and generate a new package; an earlier package retains its own evidence set.
